Microwave Fused Glass 2 hour Video Chat Class

$100.00

Want to know how to properly use your Microwave Kiln for fusing glass? Over the course of two hours on video chat I will teach you about Microwave Fused Borosilicate and everything I’ve learned from experiments and experiences during my career.

Before you begin your lesson you will need to have some supplies including a common household microwave, a Microwave Kiln, some ceramic fiber paper (bullseye thin fire paper) and some glass to melt. Safety precautions include Kevlar or leather gloves for handling the hot kiln and a surface that is heat resistant to place the hot kiln outside of the microwave to cool down. Tweezers are used for preparing the glass to make a pattern or arrangement for fusing. Other items are optional but will be covered in the lesson.

Sign up and we will have a private video chat specifically for your 2 hour lesson. When it’s completed you will be ready to go on your microwave fusing adventures.
